Looking Up

While rowing in the harbour, looking up I see, above the wharf and a neighbour's shed, a symbol of peace. No matter that the church is sold or that the cross has been used less than peacefully, on this occasion elements align and peace descends. You can feel it, you don't have to think about it. It's okay to loiter, no one will question why you're there here at winter's end puttering around on the water in a dinghy with not even a fishing rod to show you're doing something. Peace is available, and you are partaking, and it can be shared. Here, have some.
