Where Nobody Goes DSC_0935
Where Nobody Goes
Not all the islands on this stretch of Granite Coast have landing points. On some the cliffs rise all around. And so nobody goes there. Who goes there? Nobody. That's the mantra for these places that tug at my heart when I see them, and I see them often. I feel as if I want to be there. Yet if I were there, going anywhere would be a chore. There are no paths, not for humans anyway, and the underbrush is thick and often higher than a person's head. So I content myself with passing by on the water and watching. It is a beauty that wants to be by itself. It is a beauty where nobody goes.
