A Scarcity of Soft Landings

There's few soft landings on the islands of the Granite Coast. The brush is thick and often head-high, the granite unyielding, paths are scarce as the way to the heart of a bully. I land from time to time, forge forward so I can point to my torn britches later as a sign of fortitude, but mostly I just like to cruise by close and admire the hardihood of Nova Scotia.
