Self Portrait in the Harbour

So, yesterday I was without a motor. Rowing was my only choice, and the sea was up a bit much for that. After venturing out and turning back, I made my way between the harbour islands till I could rest the boat in a little pocket of seaweed that was shielded from the wind. When I row, I put a mirror on the back of the boat so I can see where I'm going. Sitting still in my little oasis of calm, I noticed myself looking back at myself and the village while also looking out toward the sunset and the island between me and the sea. It occurred to me that it would be a good portrait of how I have spent much of the pandemic when outdoors as well as how I feel about it.
