Greed

We want something that someone else has. Or, someone else wants something that we have. Or, we refuse to share what we have. Or, someone else refuses to share with us. Greed has many faces and comes in many forms. We may laugh at its manifestation in the animal world. One gull has nabbed a sculpin, the other looks silly crying out for a bite. It isn't silly in the human world. I mean, to most of us. Perhaps because of its increasing prevalence. Those who have want more. Those who have not get even less.

Perhaps there are higher beings who are laughing at us. Who knows?
