Captain's View

Along with my posts of pictures Maritime, I thought I would include this one of what appears directly before me in my oceanic wanderings. Essentials: boathook (for use at dock or mooring or to grapple stray floating cases of rum), chart plotter, wheel. A sturdy 16-foot boat made by my friend Arne in Blind Bay. An ocean upon which to wander. Land from which not to separate myself too far. A sense of profound gratitude that this is a playground for a senior wanderer like me.
