Heading Out
On a cloudy afternoon, before days of precipitation, this is how it looked as I headed out into the harbour of Prospect Village. There was wind in the harbour but not too much. It was fine to nose around in my inflatable, Cakewalk. Outside the harbour the waves were already too much for me to want to deal with. But even in the harbour, there is much to behold and wonder at, no matter how many times I have seen it in my thirty years here. And in fact I found photographs to last me for a whole week. You know, I would look at them and decide on one to process, or one would cause words to arise in my mind. This one at the very beginning of the outing is now the last one to be posted from that bunch. It's not much of a photo, but I think it's illustrative enough, in a documentary sort of way. So I can take you all with me a little bit. Which I like to do.
