Prospect Village from the Sea

When I moved here 30 years ago, I first became acquainted with Nova Scotia from the sea. I bought an old wooden yawl in New Brunswick and, with help from friends and a couple of old salts who knew the waters, sailed her around to the village. On the way we put in at several small ports and experienced great hospitality. I still have not done much travelling in the province on the roads, so my deepest appreciation is triggered by views from the sea. Here I'm out between Norris Bald Rock and Hopson Island. At 73 and a little less athletic, my conveyance has become a small fibreglass motorboat, which nevertheless I am very fond of. So here I am sharing a view that never fails to lift my heart.
