Granite Coast Contemplation

Sometimes rowing is the meditation. Other times just sitting and contemplating the view. Here with the boat parked in a patch of seaweed near the Southern Passage. This is a contemplation not associated with thinking. The gaze simply rests on the scene and mind opens up into that. Ocean mind. Sky mind. Horizon mind. Mind of emptiness. Heart of fullness forever breaking as the ocean approaches the land and the deep water shoals.
