A Wealth of Simplicity

My friend Scott in his very small yawl coming into harbour. The boat has only sails and oars. No motor. Scott had been out for his dinner and indeed had come back with a bucket of mackerel. When the wind failed to serve, he got out his oars. I was out there rowing too, of course, and so had the chance for the photo. All was very quiet, very majestic, very genuine. This is how to treat a place so that its magical spirit reveals itself.
