Hopson Island from the Open Sea
Yesterday a brisk wind from the northwest made for a choppy journey from the harbour to the islands. Finally the camera had to be put away to keep the salt spray from frying the electronics. But in the meantime a few shots were managed. I like this portrayal of Hopson Island from the open sea. It's tricky shooting when the waves are bouncing the boat all around. Nevertheless one acquires the necessary skills. And anyway, success or no, the magnificence involved makes every outing memorable. This shot is dedicated to all who need as much beauty as possible in their lives. So in other words, it's dedicated to everyone. May compassion and loving kindness prevail.
