My Living Room

If home is where the heart is, this would be my living room. The wee island is locally known as Bald Rock and as Norris Bald Rock on navigational charts. Nothing grows there because waves wash entirely over it when the storms have their way. Seals and gulls and cormorants hang out there in season, with the occasional me visiting. We have in common that we all like mackerel. I was especially glad to come out even this far and winter still be going on. 'Cause there's no place like home, eh? It's true what they say.
