Bald Rock

Technically, it's Norris Bald Rock. To distinguish it from other Bald Rocks elsewhere along our coast. But around here we just call it Bald Rock. Nothing lives there. Cormorants, gulls and seals visit, but nothing stays or grows, because unlike islands where even the granite sponsors life, this one is swept by the sea from time to time and stays "bald". There are people like that, swept by grief, unable to live normal lives. If you know one, please do whatever you can to encourage and support them. We can't do much for an island like Bald Rock, but even the smallest act of listening can lighten the often unbearable load of a grieving person. Thank you.
