Granite Coast Reflection
Self-isolation needn't mean locking ourselves in. Nova Scotia is full to overflowing of magnificent Nature to keep us company. I call this little inlet in Rogue's Roost my new shrineroom. I can tuck my little boat in there and just sit and contemplate, protected from wind and wave. And as my mind relaxes, thoughts of being alone or not being alone become transparent. The traditional term for what we are doing is simply 'retreat', by the way. We are all on retreat. If you haven't done it before, it's a good thing to do. Let your mind rest while you're awake. You'll be glad you did. You'll be glad you do.
