Live Oak Lit from the Valley

As I go back and forth with my sister, assessing what is needed for further recovery from the fires of last year for our family home, I see what an incredible load she is carrying and am so grateful that among us siblings there is one as strong as she. I would like to dedicate this photo to her, because the back-lit beauty of the tree reminds me of her. From our side,from each of our distant places in the world, we may be unable to appreciate her efforts fully. But when you are here and see her standing her ground, our ground, then you want to offer praise. And of course, as usual, it is all about the light.
