Early Day

Life can seem so hard. Every day, no matter how long we've slept, seems like an early day. Too soon to be back up and at 'em. Didn't we just do that? Do we really have to do it again? These are the thoughts that rush in. There's nothing wrong though. Thoughts are just like sleight of hand. You just missed the trick. The real magic is catching the trick and having your laugh once the trick is exposed. You can laugh a lot that way, over and over. Just keep watching while it all becomes more and more transparent and more and more jolly. Which could also mean simply less painful to bear.

Early day. When really there was no day at all. No short night. No thoughts to rush in. No mistakes to be faced or traced. No success to be seriously - oh so seriously - sought. Nothing wrong. You're all right. Take a breath. Cool boredom can be funny too. Dude. Kiddo. Child of light.
