Cleaning the Catch

The fog was thick all day, but I made my way where I wanted to go by keeping some land at least in shadowy sight. Out of the harbour, around Redmond Island, across the narrow Back Bay and then across Prospect Bay where there's a shoal exposed to land on the other side and then up between the islands. On the way there were fishermen chasing the mackerel. When I got back to the harbour, still fogbound, I found one of the fishermen already back and cleaning his catch. I couldn't see much, but what I could see was classic.
