Alone Together

The ocean seems larger and larger
though we have many boats.
We come together now
in less and less touch.
But what is this weight on our hearts?
No elephant, heavy though it may seem.
Only our own minds, so now is the time
to let our mental burdens go
and simply do and be and love.
In a room full of family and friends
we will die alone anyway.
You can do it. Let your heart be light.
Be strong by giving up the fight.
Our true nature is really unconquerable
dead or alive, or even alone together.
