Looking Down From The Clouds
I was easing down the eastern shoreline of Prospect Bay with a friend yesterday, keeping the prop of my electric motor barely turning over, when I saw what appeared to me to be a face in the granite. In the next instant, the vision matured to be a divine mother looking down from the clouds. In that same instant, I took the picture. And could feel it right down in my bones, as if I really had seen her looking down and feeling great compassion and sadness for all our troubles.
