Alp Horn
Somewhere In the Lost and Found
You were in the Alps, perhaps. At least you thought so. It looked mountainous enough. And there was your horn. So you started playing. Perhaps to alert the villagers to the oddity of the sea being there too. It must have been that. There were only toy cattle and no pasture to call them to if they'd been real. Yes, it was to warn the villagers about the dangers of the sea. Yet they seemed to pay you little attention other than to drop coins among the toy cattle, or to ask idiotically if your horn was a didgeridoo. Other than that, they seemed to flock to the lighthouse to have their pictures taken there, as if that were what was needed to save them. Also, you thought you knew everyone in the village, and you didn't know any of these people. Nevertheless, there you were and there was your horn and what else was there to do? You kept on playing. If you were lost you were lost. That was how to be found. It was the only way.
