The Marks of Time and the Blemishless Face of Space
Concrete and uncoated metal are true guardians of the light. They keep the light relevant by giving it something to do. They reveal what the light itself has done to them, along with the wind and the rain. They corrode, they stain, they pit, they crack. By virtue of their illumination, they tell us the genuine story of appearance and emptiness, just as does unchanging and ever youthful space. The stamp of the artist, of course, being the only ancient and profoundly compassionate moon.
