No Boating Today

Not a turrible storm by any measure, but perhaps a good excuse to take it easy. Got out and dusted off the car. Young fellows from up the road will be around directly to plow the drive and clear the walk. Stove damped down to a nice steady radiation that saves wood. The wee bit of gin and tonic and grapefruit juice to mellow down even more. May all you who read this be liking your day as much as me, and all those who don't, well, I'm sending out a cloud of good wishes like when I dump a bucket of ash in the cold winter wind. Only may it bring health and warmth and not just dirty snow.
