Khenpo Corner

At the southern end of Cub Basin, among islands not far from my house, is a spot I call Khenpo Corner, by which to remember Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso, my teacher, not just a great teacher but a teacher of great teachers. Since being a student of his, albeit the least of his students, is the culminating good fortune of my life, I recognized a place of astonishing beauty where it feels right to anchor and practice according to his instructions. How do you get such a teacher? I don't know. I did nothing more than yearn all my life for one, and he turned up like magic. So yearn I guess. So that no other wish really matters. And then keep a weather eye out. Because the real thing may come at you like a storm.
