An Elegance of Ice and Rock

I went out for a walk yesterday, intending to get some photos. I did, and the icebound scenery was certainly worth the foray, but Lord was it brisk. I had on long underwear and a down coat, thick tuque, heavy boots and all, and the wind just blew right through it. At some point I had to shut down the photography and just make my way home. I was along the rocky shore near the High Head. I remember being very careful about where I placed my feet, and I remember doing it more and more slowly. By the time I got back to the village, I would have made a turtle look fast.
