Unchanging View

A Lookout Slow to Change and One That Never Changes

This view from inside Rogues Roost is what a rogue might have seen from the different eras that gave the inlet its name, a privateer or pirate in the late 19th century, a rumrunner in the early 20th. Since humans haven't left anything to age or change in style, nature keeps things rather as they are. Our own basic nature is similar, only more so. However many habits we have enforced upon ourselves, whatever identity we have come to believe in, the view of our basic nature is of a nature pure and unchanging, unblemished by greed, arrogance or ignorance. When we re-associate ourselves with that basic nature, we find ourselves back in alignment with the way things really are, and that is a place where the heart is at ease. May everyone find their way home. Please. Tally-ho!
