Irresistible
Having entered just to take a look
he finds the flow impossible to stem
the utter wonder of a glacier
sweeps him forward
where the blue ice lowers
and there is no return
and going, he remembers
he will know
where hope and fear grind to a halt
and purity, without a doubt
is, was, and always has been
evermore
