Lost Cars 5 - Old Glory

Age may wear away the gilt but leave the glory. And in fact increase it. This is the fascination, I think, that tattered flags on a battlefield have for us. And perhaps a classic early car like this one, left out in the woods for its last days. Were it in a showroom, polished to a sheen, I for one would give it a glance and a nod and hope they were serving good appetizers, perhaps smoked salmon and a fine bris, and think no more of another bright bauble. But in its demise it is grand.
