Lost Cars

One by one they slipped away, broken, outdated
or maybe just left in the dark by an owner who died.
Now they congregate in a forest, and though
the documentary is pedestrian (bought up for a reason
and shipped for a reason and kept beyond
all reason), there could be a story in which
the old cars drove themselves here
to keep themselves company
while they dream. It could be
our story. It could be
our lives.
