The Fence That Was
I had good reason
said the fence
it was so obvious
they had to be
on one side
or the other
And I was something
said the fence
she cried he cried they cried
my god I was
like god himself
no one could get through me
And now I lie here
said the fence
exposed as just a farce
there never was anything to me
let me please be consumed
and everyone please please forget my name
