Serious Kayakers

Most folks I see out kayaking on the big water wear relaxed smiles. After all, that's what recreation is all about, no? But this fellow leading his partner into Prospect Harbour was all business. Perhaps he was carrying something and thought I was Customs. Or that I was 'looking to do him no good'. Or it could have just been a moment when his migraine kicked in. At any rate, I hope it was not the tone of their day.
