Not Intimidated by the Great Expanse

If we think of sea and sky as vast and ourselves in comparison as very small, and therefore inconsequential, we might feel terribly intimidated. On the other hand, if we realize that thought is something that we just made up, and that in reality we are inseparable from the great expanse, we can relax and enjoy being part of the tapestry, and that we share in the glory and awe. How do we go beyond our thinking? Meditation is key. Once we see how the mind spins its web, we're no longer the fly, we're the spider. Once we give our mind some space to be a mind in, all constraints are revealed as transparent and insubstantial. What are we waiting for? I don't know. What are we waiting for?
