Natural Generosity
Lobsters like very fresh food, as it turns out, unlike catfish which, as I remember from my youth, always like bait best that is foul and stinks. So lobstermen get rid of any bait that is old or rancid. In the process, they benefit the seagulls. A very natural generosity and one to be remarked upon and contemplated. Not a great big shouting demonstration of charity like big companies make, but something possible, that can be done and is done and contributes to the spirit of richness in a place. You don't have to have lots of money to experience this kind of richness.
