It's Not Nostalgia When It's Now

The sign in front of Mabels Market on Prospect Road near me in Prospect Village reminds me of a simpler time, when everything wasn't generated by computers. And the sign is like the store overall. The people are cheerful and welcoming, the door stands open when the weather allows, and there's more inside than a small roadside store usually offers. It reminds me of my childhood, really. But it's now. It's now, and it's every day, and you can go there. So it's not nostalgia. It's like a flag still flying.
