I Cover the Waterfront 5 w sig DSC_3304
It's not a wild coastline or a cultivated garden. It isn't moved by the tides or the winds. It isn't seeded or watered or mowed. Not much is unveiling itself or even growing at all. When it was all new, the search for light would not have uncovered it. But now the world, the way things are, over decades has stamped it with love, faded it, broken it down, softened it with the kisses of ruin. And so what it is, after all, beyond reason, toxic and petrified, is beautiful.
