Mojavon III - View from the Bow
Two acquisitions will be key to my next book project, The Granite Coast Chronicles. One is a new camera. That I could get off the shelf. The other is a boat that can be rowed or sailed when I get too tired (my last expedition showed me how dangerous it can be to get too tired and have no alternative power). Such a vessel doesn't exist ready-made. Mine is being built by Thomas Wood of Wallace, Nova Scotia, using plans by Colin Angus of Vancouver. Today I made a visit to see her a'borning.
