Taking Love Out For a Walk

The love was getting bigger than the house. The lover took a walk for some relief. The sky was still too small. It helped to add an ocean. Then to have the ocean crash with all the thunder that was being felt inside. Then to think of all the houses, oh so many, all around the world that were shrink-wrapping love, and all the lovers with no ocean. And to wish them one! To wish them room for so much love!

And if their love fit in a shoebox, and if they were content with that, and if their love fit in a safe and they had lost the combination, and if their love insisted on a gun,

to imagine bringing them all along, so they could feel this, every one, so they could feel again the open-ended power of so much love!
