Jack's Old Fishing Stage in the Snow
It's not Jack's any more. He quit fishing and moved out of the village into the city. The rich German fellow bought it who also bought Redmond's Island in the back bay and put a mansion on it that is hardly ever lived in. So the stage is not used for much these days. But it's funny. It carries its history with it somehow, somehow like pride, somehow in a sort of way that stops you and makes you look twice and maybe say out loud, "Damn, that's a fine old stage."
