Erratic 2 The High Head and the adjoining Pine Barrens are home to a number of erratics. I can't explain it exactly, yet, but they change the character of the place. They take a place of beauty and add an element of mystery. They are part and yet not part of things. They stand aloof. They are not to be walked upon. They were dropped by the glaciers as if by the gods after a baseball game that went on too long.
