A soft awakening is a blessing. How often do we open our eyes and it's a storm, or we're late for work, or someone's crying, or maybe if you're in Syria, a bomb has come through the roof. So, to the wonder of a misty morning, an ocean like a mirror, and colours as if the rising sun were creating a new pallette ... and to the splendour of having the leisure to watch it all ... I raise a glass.
