A Slice of Frozen Island

The side of an island here on the Granite Coast. The topsoil is thin above the rock, so rain and melting snow run off the slope and form icicles as they fall to the north Atlantic. I like the explanation but even better I like just seeing this as an abstract image where for once the granite is not suggestive of a face or a form yet is dynamic in its coloring and arrangement. Beyond concept, forceful, alive. I'll have another slice please!
