Across the Way

I like cruising in the shallow back bay and looking at what lines the banks. The houses have such a fine setting and are rare enough not to dominate the landscape. I don't know who lives there. I know my neighbours in the village. But these other neighbours are not complete strangers. A relative proximity and their houses being constantly there make them part of the painting that is my beloved granite coast. So I like to show them off.
