Seaweed and Icicles
A session of ocean rowing took me out and around Hearn Island today, a round trip of about five miles. On the backside of Hearn, the water draining down out of the soil turns to icicles as it hits the naked granite at the island's edge. Straight and sharp, the icicles make an interesting contrast with the sinuous curves of the seaweed.
