Wind-blown Beach Grass in Volcanic Sand
It was late in the day and I had walked a long way working hard to get good shots in the time we had. I was really tired and was on my way back to the bus to just sit down and rest and wait for everybody else to finish. I first walked past this little bunch of beach grass even though it caught my eye. I said to myself well I saw it that's enough. Then I stopped anyway, shaking my head at myself as if to say, you never really know when to quit, do you. And got the shot. And then forgot about it. And maybe it is forgettable. But it was also Iceland.
