These are the fall colours of a field in Colchester County, Nova Scotia, Canada. No autumn leaves falling, no woods on fire. Just a field of rolling colour. I don't know the identity of the plant or plants, but it was certainly a car-stopping experience, which indicates that it was indeed a mind-stopping experience.
