Figurehead

I am the dream of happiness.

Look, am I not well-favoured and desired by all?

If I am sad, what does that mean for them?

Time and the elements intervene, my veneer

Is peeling and my very crown dissolving in a cloud.

Look again, morning anyway is here. Be well.

Let your dreams go their way. Wish me well.

I am not without merit, only stuck in hell.
