Out in the Open

Betrayal is truth
Not a beast ripping off its mask
But our very own family
Being driven by the wayward winds.

Heartbreak is the great awakener.
Now we are sitting in that sunniest of meadows
Not a cloud in the sky
And we are laughing and applauding

And we don't care why.
