Autumn in the Back Bay

Slowly and quietly, moving from the depths to the shallows, taking it all in, the subtle variations along the granite coast as the weather steers us toward another winter. And there is nothing to dread. Even the long winter is full of amazing presentations we can enjoy if we donate our attention rather than keep it focused on ourselves. Shielded from the northerly wind by the trees at the end of the bay, the boat and myself drifted slowly, making it easy to focus and capture an image. These colours lift my spirit. These are the colours of my spirit beyond that of the bones this body will become. Because we are not separate from our world.
