Beauty Past the Prime

Rhubarb leaves aren't edible. When I take the stalks for food, I generally put the leaves back in the garden as compost, something that rots and replenishes but can be ignored. But as with many things that we ignore, there are possibilities of beauty, and this rhubarb leaf past its prime is what I would call evidence.
