Out of the Grey

About a decade ago, I spotted a piece of driftwood I wanted on Hopson Island, about two miles out from the village. It was huge. A stump. Nevertheless I got it into the water, where it floated, and spent about four hours rowing it home. Yes, I have been a little crazy in my time. Anyway, that old dead tree has become a host to new life after all those years. I don't know why. I would guess the fog had a hand in it, but we have fog every year, and it's the first time this ever happened. Nature is just the coolest artist.
