The Couple on the Rock

I discovered that although our plunge into the north Atlantic killed my D810, the images on the card were still there. Here is one from a few hundred yards behind nearby Hopson Island of two cormorants on a rock. It's so utterly wild there, which sometimes seems odd with downtown Halifax (from Prospect) only half an hour away. The distance from the rock to Hopson in the background is foreshortened due to my use of a longer lens.
